Hi
We ve just got our little Orion from where it was stored and put it on our drive( no chance of that with our previous van) so now we are wanting to plan our first trip of 2012.
I know they are not everyones cup of tea but one of the reasons we bought the orion is that we love the front window so that we can enjoy the views.
With that in mind, can anyone suggest which sites have the best possible views. Weve been to some great ones in cornwall but as we only have time for a couple of nights and we live in Leeds we were thinking of staying up north for our first trip.
That still leaves the Dales, the Lakes, the Peak and two coasts so come on, give us your favourite site with stunning views from the van and we ll give it a go. cheers. Paul

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I'm afraid i can't help you Paul but i am going to keep an eye on any replies you get. We also live in Leeds and would love to know about sites with a lovely view! We have only been to primrose valley and Reighton Sands Haven (the childrens choice) so far but would love to try somewhere new. We're members of the caravan club but have never used it!
Fingers crossed you will get some nice suggestions!
Without question hook house farm overlooking robin hoods bay, breathtaking views for every pitch, walkable into robin hoods bay and the owner ven tows you van onto pitch and levels it up for you.
There's been an article about Old Hartley caravan site near Whitley Bay on here recently and the views look GREAT. It's a club site though if that makes any difference. Really handy for Newcastle, Metro Centre, plenty museums and the best coastline and beaches ever, (but I'm biased cos I live near by).
