Having read many threads on the price increases over the last year I was really glad to see a site I use on a regular basis has cut their prices in a big way !!

Last year we were paying £25 per night high season on a Shoreside pitch!
This year its going to be £17 per night high season !!
Must be one of the few Parks to cut their prices this year ....Well done QB !!

That is good news as it is a great site and only 30 minutes for us, always thought it was expensive for what it was though.

I might just try that site this year, the site I intended going to has doubled its prices.

Do they allow dogs?

Mmm,thought about this but after reading there sarcastic response to a customer who left a review it has put me right off.I thought we as consumers had the right to our opinions. You can see the response in there review section.Plus resent being charged for showers, they can dress it up any way they like, maybe there price drop is down to people voting with there feet.

Isin't it strange how some people read things differently.
Being a regular at this site and having got to know the owners quite well I read the reply to that review as passionate frustration about someone not enjoying their time on the park.
They are very up front about wanting to know if you are not happy about something and are always around to help.
They even have a folder in reception with visitors comments, even any bad ones along with what they have done to rectify the problem.
Like a few other site owners I know, I think they find it disappointing when folk would rather leave comments on a website after they have gone rather than come and speak to them at the time of the problem.
Personally I don't mind paying for the showers as you get all shampoo and shower gel included, I've lost count of the times I've stripped off, turned on the water and then realised I've not got any shower gel!
The OH is also more than happy to pay small charge for his papers rather than take an eight mile round trip into Annan for them.

Of course you are absolutley right that we as customers should be able to state our opinion but I've also long been in favour of site owners having the right of reply.

I'll give you the eyeballs comment was wee a bit cheeky but then again so was the reviewers eyeball comment.
