Hi, we went to Whitehill the first week of June last year. We stayed on pitch 61 (in a tent). This was oposite the play park so could see the kids. The park was next to one of the shower/toilet/washing up blocks, so was close by but not too close to be noisy. This block, although very clean, was older than the newer block which was situated on the next camping field. We had a looksy just to see and it was lovely.
The pool was lovely and we had fantastic weather so kids used it alot. There is a lovely walk through the woods from the site, which we did. There is a more grown up wooden play park on the furtherest field, which my two enjoyed.
There is a craft room, which kids can do pottery (extra cost) painting, pictures (free) and other things I think. This would be really handy if bad weather.
There is a take away/cafe, selling fish and chips, etc. We thought it was good and not too expensive. The shop, although small, was really good. It sold loads of things including camping essentials.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We bought a two hour card for WIFI for our daughter (facebook!!), but can't remember how much it was. A godsend at the time!
The bar was expensive, but the little disco was great for the kids.
On the whole, we really enjoyed this site and would go back, but like the look of Cofton as well (but haven't been).
Hope this helps and that you have a lovely holiday wherever you decide to go.
