I am looking for a good campsite near the sea for two families. Never been to this area before and would like some help picking a site.
The women want to be near the beach, Men near pub and places to mountain bike if possible. Kids playpark and things to keep them occupied.
Any Ideas folks?

There are loads . Just search on here .
We have been to Hayle the past few years
But for many years we went to watergate bay.
Also when the kids were young, we went to the area around mevagissy/ st Austell .
Cornwall has so much to offer. You are spoilt for choice.

trevornick holywellbay my first choice....been there last 2 years.

little treverack carbis bay also lovely.

travella crantock ......this is my favorate beach in cornwall.

When our kids were small we went to Harlyn Bay near Padstow. Great beaches all within a few miles of each other - fab pub in St Merryn and Harlyn. Chippie great in St Merryn too. We always stayed at Higher Harlyn Caravan Site on the rally field with the C&CC. There are numerous other sites around that have better facilities - we stayed on this site as it was cheap!!!  Moved on a lot since those days....happy memories tho' and the kids still talk about it and they are in the late 20's now!!!
