Just wondering whether anybody can recommend a campsite near Brighton (for August bank holiday) to take friends that have never been camping?  Our friends have a dog, so the site should take pets.  My other half will only go to places where bathroom facilities are super-duper top notch and which offer electric hook-up for tents.  I think it would be quite nice to go to a site where it's possible to have camp-fires (but I'm the most flexible, so this isn't essential).  The last site we stayed on near Brighton, we got eaten alive due to still water near the site, so despite loving the rest of the experience, I think we may not go back there.

I could start trawling through the site lists to see what I could find, but just wondered if I could seek collective expertise here first and see if anybody has any really positive recommendations?
