Hi everyone,

Have just bought a motorhome and we are new to touring.  We are desperate to get away for a night this weekend but want to stay in Scotland till we get the hang of the motorhome.  Can anyone recommend a site open at this time of year with either a pub or entertainment on a Saturday night?  Any help or advice would be appreciated.

try the woods at alloa, great site and beleive there is a clubhouse now open on site

I'm afraid I can't help with sites in Scotland as the furthest our 'vannie has travelled has been Northumberland but we both love Scotland.

I'm sure someone else will be along soon to make suggestions.

The site at Balloch is open all year. No pub on site but pubs in Balloch.

You could try Ord house country park in Berwick upon tweed just over the border there is a clubhouse on site and a Pub 300 yards from site entrance..I dont think there is a clubhouse on the Woods caravan club site near Stirling

the woods caravan park does have a bar, restaurant and shop now open.all new for 2012
