Hi

Does anyone know of any campsites near golf courses just trying to plan this years trips not bothered where just in the uk. Would also prefer to be by the sea.

Plassey - but no sea!

Below is the link for my dads old club - this is the reason he moved to the area.

In November I had his funeral wake held there. The flag was at half mast for him for a long time - he 'ran' the junior section.

The 2nd link is to a photo of the 1st hole overlooking the sea.

Being where it is there are any number of campsites local. It's equidistant between Burnham on Sea and Brean.

CC Yellowcraig North Berwick right next door to Muirfield and lots of other golf clubs nearby.

Queensberrybay  is just a couple of minutes walk from Powfootgolfclub

Highcreagan is just an mile of so from Killingolfclub

The creme de la creme if you are heading north just has to be Sunnysidecroft which is half a mile down the road from Traighgolfclub ,  possibily the most scenic golf club ever !
