Hi

Does anyone know of any campsites near golf courses just trying to plan this years trips not bothered where just in the uk. Would also prefer to be by the sea.

Tollgate farm, Perranporth. Walk to the Golf course or the sea from the site so no probs having a drink afterwards and cheaper green fees if staying on site. (i have done it) Fantastic course by the way with amazing sea views and greens.

Below is the link for my dads old club - this is the reason he moved to the area.

In November I had his funeral wake held there. The flag was at half mast for him for a long time - he 'ran' the junior section.

The 2nd link is to a photo of the 1st hole overlooking the sea.

Being where it is there are any number of campsites local. It's equidistant between Burnham on Sea and Brean.

Beach comber bay Northumberland you drive through the golf course to get the the site . Golf course and campsite not connected but I did see a few Golf bat bags out side tin tens on site . It's apron 7 miles to Berwick and a cycle ride to Holy island . Allso horse riding from site straight on to massive beach .

CC Yellowcraig North Berwick right next door to Muirfield and lots of other golf clubs nearby.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

High Straggleton Farm at Whitby is quite close to a Golf course & the sea as is Centenary Way at Filey.

Queensberry bay at Powfoot cracking golf course

Brighouse bay as above plus their sister site at Sandyhills next to Colvend golf course

ALso parkdean site at Southerness has a cracking links course voted in the to 100 in the uk and not to expensive.

These are all in Dumfries and Galloway there are more with courses with in 1 or 2 mile in the area also

Queensberrybay  is just a couple of minutes walk from Powfootgolfclub

Highcreagan is just an mile of so from Killingolfclub

The creme de la creme if you are heading north just has to be Sunnysidecroft which is half a mile down the road from Traighgolfclub ,  possibily the most scenic golf club ever !
