Hi All,

Hope you're all well. I'm after some help, i am trying to book in at The Newnes caravan park but am having difficulty contacting the owner, he doesn't answer phone calls or respond to emails.

Has anyone been there, if so, are there any washing up facilities? Also how many toilets are there for men and women.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi, did you check the 10 reviews on here?

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=6933

The second review down states:

Just returned from this first class site. The Facilities are wonderful ( even though there are only two toilets and showers )

And the third review states

Lastly there are no washing up facilities.

I am sure if you read all the reviews you will get a great picture of the site and what it has to offer

Cheers  Ratty

Hi, yeah i read the reviews just wanted to clarify if that was 1 toilet each or 2 toilets for men and 2 toilets for women. The reviews were also over 6 months ago so just wondered if anyone had been recently and if they had managed to do washing facilites.

thanks for the reply

We stayed at this site August bank holiday last year, wonderful views from camping field, unisex facilities were housed in cabin like building consisting of two rooms, each with wash basin, toilet and shower, never had to queue. No washing up facilities when we were there, I believe they have applied for planning permission to build further facilities block. This is a lovely site and Robin the owner is very helpful, his mobile number is left on a board near toilets in case you need to contact him whilst on site.

We stayed at this site last year. Its a wonderful site. There is a very clean toilet block, that has 2 showes with sinks and toilets. There are no washing up facilities, but we didnt find that an issue. It has wonderful views, very quite. Tesco is only 5 mins away. If you leave Robin a message or Email him he will get back to you, he is busy as it a working farm.

We're booked into Ty Mawr, a C&CC CS, for 4 days later this month. Wanted to say near Ellesmere and found it on UKCS HERE, although no reviews as yet. Had a look at the C&CC website and the reviews on there are very good indeed so we gave them a ring last week. Very, very nice lady and extremely helpful. WC, shower, EHU for £12 per night.

Will do a review on here once we've been, hope it's going to be a good one!!
