The missus and I fancy a CC site near to the sea; preferably with a nice sandy beach near by.

Pentewan Sands in Cornwall. Its a big site but sits on a beautiful beach.

Willingcott CC site, Woolacombe Devon.

Site spacious, toilet block clean but dated.  Distant sea views from the site, close to Woolacombe's fantastic beach, one of the best beaches in the South West. Other beach resorts in North Devon within easy reach by car (Saunton, Croyde, Westward Ho!)

Middlewood Farm Camping and Caravan site, Robin Hoods Bay North Yks. Beautiful village next to sea. Lovely walk down to beach and village from site. very clean facilities. No pubs on site but plenty in village and lovely Whitby few miles away.

New England Bay site has only the sandhills between you and the beach, lovely big site with lots of space for each van. Yellowcraig at North Berwick has the most fantastic beach adjacent, though it is at leat a half mile walk from your caravan to the beach, but it s a nice walk, it's a great place.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
