Any recommendations or hidden gems? I've searched here but not found what I want, but I think that could be because I don't know what I want! Wherever we end up needs to be within a reasonable distance of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, be kid and dog friendly and have EHU and a decent washblock. All suggestions and help appreciated!

Chile - what's the definition of a reasonable distance? I've had Nostell Priory recommended to me by friends this week, which is reasonably close. A fair bit further afield is Ruddings Park at Harrogate - it's much further away, probably 20-30 miles, but good for children esp in summer, and there's lots off additional stuff you could do in Hareogate :-)
I live a couple of miles from the Yorkshire sculpure park and to be honest we have not got many sites in the area. I can only think of Nostell Priory which is probably about 8 miles away and there is Greensprings in Barnsley (reviews on here) about the same distance. Thre are planty of CLs in the area but you may need to widen your search for a site to fit your bill.
Reasonable distance = no more than about 20 mins-30 mins in the car. We are gearing up to go and see the Joan Miro sculptures, they are here until Jan so we can go several times. I've just said Nostell Priory to Mr Chile, and he said "Of course, why didn't I think of that?! I'll have a look at there now (all new to me) . So thank you very much fellow campers. Any CL type recommendations?

There is a little caravan site just down the road on durkar low lane (5 minutes ish away). There are a few reviews listed on here .Good luck with your search.
Just looked at Broadlands Farm Caravan Site - ticked all the boxes, then saw it's adults only - DRAT. Las Chiletitas refuse to be left at home - Chiletita Una is doing GCSE Art and is dying to go! Drat and double drat.
There is a cl literally outside the entrance to the park but it is directly next to the M1 and no electric so not suitable but there is also a CC cl called Wolley Bank Farm about 1 1/2 miles away but again quite close to M1 but does have electric. Cant comment on it as i've only drove past it. If you have time the National Mining Museum is worth a visit it is free and the trip down the mine is a great experience for the kids as long as they are over the age of 5.
My husband has just reminded me that there is a small site at Flockton about 3 miles away from the park called Highfield House and there are reviews on ukcampsites.
