Yes, we went last September to take my youngest son down to university. So will be returning a good number of times during the next 4 years. To be honest it depends what you want from a site. We just wanted to be as near to the centre of Brighton as possible, and this is the only site that promises that. (Though, it is a car or bus ride into Brighton. Brighton Marina is a way out of Brighton and just an eighties built set of entertainment blocks, chain cafes and an Asda) If you are going to visit Brighton this is the best possible choice, there is nothing at all to be found as close as Sheepcote. Largeish site, usual well kept caravan club standards. Quite a lot of hardstanding but some grass pitches and a couple of tent fields. Toilets clean, wash up facilities etc. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Brighton is a busy, trendy town right on the beach, we had a gorgeous sunny week while we were there and spent time sat at bars on the beach listening to live entertainment. Plenty of quirky independent shops and interesting cafes and restaurants. Large student population and good for people watching.
I think you would be going here for Brighton, rather than the site itself, I notice not many people stayed on the site during the day.
If however, you are wanting small out of the way from it campsite with fire pits etc. and somewhere you just wanted to stay on site and relax you could look further outside Brighton.
Hope this helps

Love Sheepcote Valley have been several times and booked to go at beginning of June.
We have taken our bikes and ridden in to Brighton or have walked along the front possible about 45 minutes from site into Brighton. The marina is ok with Wetherspoons, Pizza Express and lots of other eating places and not too far to get back to the site. We found the buses ok but we have to pay so don't use them as much as some may plus I bus to work every day so its a change not to use them.
You can walk/cycle along the opposite way too we had a lovely coffee and cake in a beach front cafe there.
You didnt say what you are looking for in particular as we could help you with attractions etc. the Pavillion was brilliant (we used an Art Pass free offer last year for this)
The site as mentioned is a usual Caravan club site and is mixed useage - equal amounts of caravans and motorhomes really - as it is good for leaving the campervan on site (some CC sites are definitely situated better for having a caravan or tent)
