I noticed the Daily Mirror have an offer on today - camping for 95p per night. I think it said 200 odd sites to choose from although I didn't look at the terms & conditions in detail.
Unfortunately not much use to me at the mo as car still not working and we have quite a bit of kit and a 5 yr old.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
It is too good to be true! We collected vouchers last year. But, when I emailed one of the sites I liked the look of they had lots of add-ons.
Yes, the pitch itself was £1 a night but then they wanted something like £4 per person, £3 or was it £4 for EHU, then a charge per dog and also for our awning. When I added it all up it wasn't far off their "normal" pitch prices!
------------- 2024:
February: Broadstone Park, Coleford
March: Bucklegrove, Rodney Stoke
Easter: Llandrindod Wells, Powys
May: Carmarthenshire
July: Dorset Volksfest + Wilksworth
August: Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza
August BH: TBC
September: Undecided
October: Bull Bay, Anglesey
I don't think it's too good to be true at our site Callow Top
The 95p per night includes a caravan/motorhome/tent, 1 car and 2 people staying on a non-serviced pitch.
Any additional children aged between 4 - 16 yrs cost £1.50 each per night.
Under 4s are free.
An upgrade to a hardstanding pitch with hook-up would be £3.50 per night.
Works out at considerably less that our normal pitch costs.
