Hi there.

wondered if anyone could help,we love this area of north devon but are only on our second year of camping undre canvas,(we have just bought a kalaharie 10, so are ready to go !!!)we have stayed at big sites in a mobile home,these include twitchen house and woolacombe sands ,but wanted somthing a bit more small and friendly,the wish list is.

close to beach

electric hook up

pitch anywere (not in rows)

kids play area (lots of kids about to keep ours occupied)

nice wash facilities.

a littel shop and maybe a takeaway

dont want much do we LOL.

have heard north morte campsite is nice ???.what do you all think ???

Hi,

Warcombe Farm is our site of choice when we stay in the area.

Nice play area for kids and they hire out fishing equipment for the lake.

The bathrooms and wet rooms are amazing, better than mine at home lol!

In peak season they used to have a little take away but Mortehoe for Fish & Chips and Woolacombe for Chinese and Pizza are minutes away

warambe farm--- i would think with a kalahari 10 you would need a super pitch, due to the size

Warcombe Farm is a nice site.   They have the poshest loos/showers I have ever seen - they are hotel standard and very swish.

There is a play area at the top of the site as you drive in.  These pitches give the best view over the coast.  The further "down" the site you go the less of a view but the bottom pitches are more sheltered.
