Does anyone know of a nice, well placed campsite (tents) which must be no more than 10 minutes walk from a town or village in the Cotswolds?  We are a couple who will have no children or pets with us when we visit for a week or so in August.  If possible, good shower facilities would be welcome too.  Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Lincoln Farm park at Standlake is worth a look at. It is very popular however so you may struggle to get anything in August. We haven't stayed but we visited it to have a look and were very impressed. Lovely shower block and theyt even have an indoor pool. couple of pubs not too far away as well.

There is a new site Tobacconist Farm Minchinhamton Strould 5 minutes into one of the best village in the cotswolds

Try Fosseway Farm in Moreton in Marsh. See here Came back from there on Tuesday. No noise as hospital built. Bus route to visit Stow on Wold and Burton on Water. Facilities adequate.

Bridge House Campsite is the one you want. 150 metres from the river Thames and the town of Lechlade. A good campsite in an idyllic setting....
