Thanks for helping. Me and OH and 6 yo daughter are going camping this summer. We are outdoors types and have been everywhere in the country ( not in a tent before daughter arrived). We want to camp this summer but have a request I know you UK campers will help me with. We think footie is great when it isn't outside my tent window and near my car. We want a camp site (not fussy where in the UK) that we can get a pitch where we wont get people playing football directly outside our tent (just round the corner in a field is great). OH likes fishing . We live North West and like Scotland, Newquay, and anywhere really. The pitch location is more important to us really.
Ive looked under campsite search but was hoping you could give me some recommnedadions for summer . Thanks LOADS in advance.

"i) Designated recreational areas are indicated on site; where available. Ball games, frisbee, cricket and any games that may interfere with the enjoyment of others are not allowed in the vicinity of units."
Have a look on Camp Site Advanced Search for whichever area you fancy, check the tent and fishing (and any other required facilities) boxes, then find which are C&CC sites.
One of the reasons I joined C&CC is their no ball games unless in designated area rule.

Pretty much any campsite anywhere really. If you do get people playing football outside your tent just go out and politely ask them no to. I guarantee 99% of people will oblige.
I can recommend this one - Wyreside Farm Park in St. Michaels-on-Wyre near Garstang. Lovely small site in some great countryside, river fishing nearby or a dedicated fishing site just down the road, pub a couple of minutes walk from site entrance, and with a separate enclosed field at one end for kids to play ball games. The owner lives on site and is very on-the-ball (sorry for the pun!) when it comes to not allowing kids to play near tents/caravans

As others have said the CCC sites are all good for having a seperate area for ball games and the like. In a simular vain most of the sites in the new forest (ok part owned by the CCC!) while dont have seperate fields for ball games, usually have lots of open space close by for this activitie..and kite flying..and cycling...and some even close for fishing as well!
Warcombe Farm in North Devon - secluded pitches well away from where anyone can play football (we also don't like footy because our Collie goes frantic if he even hears a ball being kicked and can't get to join in).
Also a nice fishing lake on the site with some pitches backing onto the lake.
Dolbryn is a lovely site, has its own fishing pool and ball field well away from the caravan and tents. Its in Carmarthenshire which is stunning and near to some lovely beaches
Sorry for the late reply. Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies. I didn't realise that about the CCC - Im definitely going to look at their sites now. Dolbryn and Warcombe etc. looks nice - added to favourites - thanks. Loch Ken is one I really mean to visit - I've just been on a last minute trip to 3 lochs nearby and didn't rate it at all for one reason and another.
Cheer again everyone.
