As our children are getting older we are finding that they need more to do than our current caravan park offers. We have been at the same site for a few years, it has an outdoor pool, but thats it and boredom for the older kids when weathers not great - as no other facilities. The problem is I dont really like the huge sites filled with rows and rows of statics that are fully commercialised. We also have an 18 month old, so also having to cater for younger age too! Looking ideally at the South but not too fussed with location.
Help much appreciated! :-)

Suzy

Have you looked at the reviews for the sites here
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/
We have only been to Hoburne Bashley ( quite a few times ) and my lads aged 17 and 19 years   ( last year ) enjoyed the site and made a few friends. They found plenty to do on rainy days on site.

Someone I used to work with who had teenagers went to River Dart country park every year. I've not been but he always raved about it.

We went to Stowford one, will never return, not a lot to do there, you have to pay to use the swimming  pool, pay for  horse riding, pay to visit the animals and pay to do the putting/golf!!!
