I have left this post elsewhere too, Im sorry very new and not sure where I should be.

I went caming for the 1st time in Canada's Rocky Mountains, to a site called Bow Valley, it was the most beautiful place Ive ever seen, and although I know Im not going to get the same scenes here, Id love to get close as

Im looking for a site where Im not plonked in a feild, Id like it to have a seperate plot in the grounds, preferably in a forest built area, with a free running river, where I can also make use of a fire pit

Is there anywhere in England or Wales that comes even a wee bit close to this?

Just looking breifly at that site its very much what Im looking for....... Shame they dont take kids though

Check out Hole Station in Devon. Basic site set amongst forest, camp fires but no river. Check out the reviews.
