Another advantage of the CC is that their computer booking system is easy to follow. Since c&cc changed their booking system early this year, it is 10 times more clunky than their old one, which was also less efficient than the CC site. It is now a lot easier to phone up the site direct, or the contact centre than to spend time seeing if a site is available. CC features like late availability and 2 month calendars for site availability  make them a lot easier, especially if you are looking for somewhere at busy times.

My goodness, but its dearer than the C&CC, you have to pay for the pitch as well as the people ...... and the photos of those sites look a bit regimented and dull. Don't think we will stay members.

We have been CC members for many years, but we joined the C & CC last year to try it out and it was the biggest mistake of our lives!
We have never come across such rude and obnoxious wardens as the ones we came across at a site in the Malverns. The site was supposed to a gem in their network but with pot holed roads I would hardly call it a gem.
However I hasten to add the female wardens were a pleasure to deal with and their male counterparts could learn a lot from them.

Really?  We are members of both clubs but the C&CC always works out dearer for us.

I think it is very much personal preference, we are new to caravanning so decided to join both. We took mayday cover out with the CC and insured the caravan through the CCC so both have been valuable. As newbie's we struggled to get to grips with all rules an regulations on some of the the sites (one site we were told off for parking the car the wrong way round!) also having 3 kids i think some people on CC sites had a look of dread when we pitched next door to them. We have decided to go seasonal now on a more relaxed site but will still prob keep CCC membership for the insurance.

I would recommend joining both to see what fits best with yourselves

Well, I don't agree with that, if you have a look at the prices some C&CC sites are more expensive than the CC sites. And with the C&CC you DO pay for the people plus £3.75 for the pitch if you want hardstanding and/or EHU.

For the over 55's the C&CC has a discount, but then again, the CC offers midweek discount where you pay half the pitch price.

Swings and roundabouts I think
