Hi all, im after some ideas from you all please.Were hoping to get away for the weekend (  Fri till Sun) and would like some ideas of where to go not too far from home. OH doesn't finish work till 5 ish so it would be after then when we set off so ideally not too far from home maybe around an hour, also somewhere with toilet and showers please we live just north of Doncaster

We doing the same next Friday, and we have little site we use 40mins from home, but you live further South, so have a look on Campsite search for your area. as its dark just before 9pm you want to be all set up by then I suppose.

I would highly recommend Jubilee Park in Woodhall Spa. Depending on where you are in Doncaster Google Maps says it is about 90 minutes away but that depends on the traffic of course.

Jubilee Park has an outdoor swimming pool (although a bit chilly) and it is about a 10 minute stroll from the campsite to the High Street where there is an array of quaint shops including a butchers (for bbq meat!) a deli (for lovely cakes) an icecream parlour (if it becomes warm), little supermarkets, and a chip shop too!
We had a lovely time there last year!

Planning to go to Holland for 2 weeks camping in August BUT the planning is giving me a headache!
