East Barkwith is a gorgeous little part of the world down near Lincoln, we stayed in some self catering accommodation there, probably the best we've ever stayed in ( The Grange, the accommodation was called The Clocktower and it was better than our house!)
Sorry - I digress, there's a couple of little shops, a hairdresser, little cafe and it's easy driving into Lincoln but far enough out to feel like you're far away from it all.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
If you want to actually be in Lincoln itself - The Hartsholme park site is nice. Showers and Laundrette, little cafe in the park which has lovely walks and great play equipment. The park is great too, mixture of woodland and open spaces x
I stayed in Hartsholme Park the other month and unless you like being over looked by a massive tower block and camping in at the back of houses then I'd recommend finding somewhere else. The park is nice but the camping experience wasnt for me. We also heard abit of noise during the night coming from the area of the tower block. I'd also avoid the pub down the road too as its abit of a dive.
