Any suggestions for sites or nearby area to see wildlife ?weather it be birds,sealife or animals.Possibly in the southern half of the country.Any suggestions?

Pembrokeshire - loads of boat trips to see seals, dolphins, puffins etc. But a must is the day trip to Skomer Island - totally awesome! You can walk within feet of the puffin burrows and there are litterally thousands of the birds just by the paths, also the spectacle of the shearwaters returning to their burrows at night and rare Choughs.You can also see seals on the rocks, loads of them. Amazing day out if you like wildlife!

Also Northumberland (although clearly out of your prefered area). Trips out to the Farne islands from Seahouses to see the thousands of seabirds and seals and the Grace Darling lighthouse.

In Dorset there is a swannery at Abbotsbury which is worth a visit if you are in the area.

With regards to a site, in Pembrokeshire we stayed at Caerfai Farm in St Davids and would defo reccommend it. Check out my review. It's a bit of a drive to the boat for Skomer but no more than 15 miles I'd say. And there are some boats that go to Ramsay Island from St. David's itself.

Springhill Farm in Norhtumberland comes highly reccommended too.
