We have booked to go here for two weeks this June/July. We have read the few reviews that are on here. A lot of the reviews say that the pitches are quite small, but what i want to know is after we have set up our 21' van and awning, are we going to have enough room to sit outside of an evening with our BBQ/fire pit?

Haven do not allow Pup tents on their caravan pitches, they are allowed as separate units on their sites that accept tents, with the appropiate fees paid.
I dont know about Marton Mere, but Primrose Valley Haven dont allow the Zip in type sleeping extentions on awnings either, and they use the width across the front of your caravan and awning as your parking space to form a T-shape, so nothing is allowed to pertude infront of your drawbar to stop this.
