Agree with Exmoor house. Dulverton is a lovely little town too.
Lakeside CC site is also a nice site. You can walk to the Anchor Inn pub within 10 minutes (very pretty location), although this site is more rural than Exmoor house it is between Bampton & Dulverton so handy for both towns.
Hillhead at Brixham also has loads of hardstandings and is located on a hill overlooking the bay (so no worries with flooding). Bus stop right outside the site going into Brixham, Torquay or Dartmouth. Hillhead is my in-laws favourite site in the country (even though they only live up the road!)
