Jakers...you blew my mind there - lol - I really would need an accountant to work that lot out. All I can say is that if it becomes law that charges for using plastic are banned or restricted in some way then you obviously need to take note, as I am sure you wouldn't want hundreds of previous campers seeking their money back. Mind you, as soon as you mentioned BT I can see why your bills are high. Perhaps you need to change your provider
Crows Nest...the reason why many people pay by card instead of cash when they arrive at a site, even though they may have a wadge in their wallets, is because they usually need that wadge to pay for their beer, meals, and everything else that they buy on holiday which they can't always use a card for.
Many times I have arrived at a site to find they won't take a card and then have to spend my holiday cash for the tariff and spend the next few hours seeking out a cashpoint machine, so it may be easier to pay by card including any fee, whether they like it or not.
