Can you recommend a campsite that is within walking distance to a village with a 5 or 6 pubs? Thinking of Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, or Cheshire areas.
Somewhere like The Croft at Hawkshead.
Many Thanks.

First ones off the top of my head. All great sites. All easy walks to town/village with all the pubs you'd need!

Feb Baltic Wharf, Bristol
Mar/April (Easter) - Somerset
May - Wales & Dulverton
June - Lake District
July - Dorset
August - Glastonbury
September - Snowdonia
October - Carnon Downs and ?? (for hab check)

Castlerigg Hall at Keswick has a hotel just outside the gate with a lovely little bar behind it that the campers use. Or you can walk into Keswick and bus back.

Tokoda at Kirkby Stephen if you're in a tent and dont want hook up
Near Lakes and Dales
KS has pubs, cafes, Chinese and Indian and other places to eat as well as a small co-op and spar
Our village (Ravenstonedale nr Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria) - if you're after a basic campsite then here
Again very handy for both Lakes and Dales
We have 2 excellent pubs in the village (Kings Head, Ravenstonedale and Black Swan, Ravenstonedale) well within easy walking distance from both sites and also a 3rd pub in easy walking distance from Bowberhead (not as good IMHO but we all differ in what we like)
Another nearby place is High Lane Farm (google for the holiday cottages - Boustead - but they also have a CL/CS)
About a 20 min, 1 mile walk to nearest pub (Kings Head) but we've now got a footpath linking the 2 villages
we love castlerigg hall, went last october off again end of sept for a week. we have pitch 10 the views are to die for.....you must book they gat realy full...
Park Foot at Pooley Bridge - if you don't need hook up, stay on the Aikbeck field, then you have a quiet lakeside walk into the village, three lovely pubs and a tea room
