Never done it while camping but get my weekly groceries delivered to my house. There was a thread about this last year. Alot of mixed feelings about this if I recall. Each to their own though

I have seen it a few times can't see a problem with it as long as you check with the site first. For me though I like to use the local shops if I can they need our support/money more than the supermarkets do try to keep it local. In my local village it's the holidaymakers money that enables us to have butchers, grocers, bakers etc open year round rather that trinket shops that are shut half the year.

If I remember from the previous thread, the conclusion was that many sites do not allow supermarket deliveries so you would need to check when booking if this would be allowed.
Yes.
We have done it twice. Last year and the year before for summer holiday in Cornwall
We had Asda delivery and others on site had Tesco or Sainsburys deliveries.
So long as the site and supermarket are happy to have the delivery then there's no problem at all. All you do is change the delivery address from your house to the campsite
It saved a lot of time and trouble when arrived and set up after a long drive from Cumbria to Cornwall.
As well as food I had duvets, pillows, pillowcases, etc etc delivered.
I have to add that after this inital delivery we tried to use all local shops as much as possible.

We had our Chinese Takeaway delivered right up to our Trailer Tent pitch in the busy Summer season. The delivery man in his little red van with Chinese writing on the side came round looking for us. (must have been like looking for a needle in a haystack.)
Our Camping neighbours thought it a brilliant service and asked the delivery man for a menu.
Truth is we really should have been up at the Campsite entrance waiting much earlier.
