Can anyone recommend any sites with a rally field in N Yorks or nearby? (About an hour - 1 1/2 hours from Hull)

Want to go camping with a group of friends (all families) so would like somewhere with our own area, but will need full facilities for tent campers.

I have been at Naburn Lock near York when they have had a rally on their tent field.  Don't know if they generally do it but worth a try.

Thanks, but although York was my first choice destination - not too far from home - others in the group want to go a bit further afield, possibly N York Moors. Will bear it in mind though.

What dates are you looking for? Try Jasmine Park midway between Scarborough and Pickering, they have a seperate field which has been hired out in the past.

marfitt head farm between pickering and whitby has a rally field .also showers /loos etc.
bang in the middle of the moors next to hole of horcum

Have a look at Cherry tree Park, Nawton, in between Pickering and Helmsley, its a 5 van site with rally field.

  Saxdale House is a nice little site at Hunmanby and has a rally field

Cayton Bay tourist park, full regular campsite with full facilities (but no swimming pool) and they have a huge rally field which is also used as overflow pitches during the high season, but its so big that a group would be able to pitch near to eachother without a problem. the rally fields toilets and shower block are within the main park so night time trips can be a bit of a trek if you dont take a porta-potti with you.

breighton ferry near goole we have great weekends there as a large group plenty of space has a nice pub small site but we love it very relaxed
