In early august we, in our motorhome will be arriviing at poole ferry terminal at about 11.00 pm. Are there any local camping sites that have a late arrivals area?

I think you will find it difficult to get a site to allow you to arrive after 11pm. All the ones i have stayed at 9am has been the last check in. If you arrive at a site at 11pm it is not respecting other people on the site.

Welcome to the forum.

I think you will struggle to find a site willing to accpet someone arriving at 11pm - (wardens need their sleep too!)
Also a site's late arrival area are there for people to use who are actually booked onto the site but arrive after the usual check in time.

CC Hunters Moon at Wareham is about 10 miles and if they have a late arrivals area you might find that you would be allowed to stop there.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
