very excited just booked tregarton park for a week at the end of july, first camping in 2 years after our camping kit got so big it took all the fun out of camping. but we've down sized the kit bought a new smaller tent ( vango icarus 600) and are looking forward to going back to basic's . site looks fab quiet and peaceful can't wait now, forgotten how much I looked forward to our camping hols. as for the site does anyone know what kind of food they serve in the takeaway (all the reviews say its great) . lisa

Take away is "pub food" basically but excellent. Very good pasties especially and inexpensive.

Nearest beach is Porthluney. One of the best but there are many around there.

Chippy is Gorran Haven is also excellent.

Agree.  We often park high up in the car park behind the street overlooking the sea and eat them.

Porthluney (also know as Caerhayes) is my favourite beach in Cornwall.  Have a fab time!

agreed this site is very good we went last year and are going back in july 12-22 all around are great little beaches and Gorran Haven is a nice place to visit.The pool is superb nice and warm as well.

never tried the take-away on site but will be this year.

 

only downside is  that you need your car to go anywhere
