Hi, thanks but I already checked the sitefinder and I'm pretty sure this isnt the right site - I'm after the campsite on the showground itself?...hoping that someone on here has stayed there?!

Im assuming you mean the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

We have stayed there,having been a few times to the caravan show that is held in October. The show has always been in the exibit halls with the camping area stretching back over the grassed area. So im not sure if the arrangement will be the same for the Three Counties show this weekend, as I would anticipate the show actually being on the grass fields where we usually camp.

We have always had good experiences of staying at the showground but we do take our caravan so obviously do have a few more "facilities" than a tent.  The pitches are flat but a little uneven underground due to the rough cut grass. Drainage is usually good but with all the wet weather we have been having and due to have this weekend i wouldnt be surprised if it gets a bit muddy especially with all the cars driving around. We always seem to end up right at the back by the dog walking field where there is a large toilet and shower block. Its best described as clean and basic, but perfectly acceptable, there may be more toilet blocks scattered about but cant say for sure.

Well I'm back and I've only just noticed these replies!

 It turned out we were directed to an area opposite the showground which was wooded, rough grass and very boggy, which made things interesting to say the least!....most caravans were parked partially on the tracks to avoid sinking I think! we managed to find a dry spot under a large tree for our tents :) The only facilities were a small set of portaloos...definately no 'blocks' of any kind...so I'm guessing this is different to whats described above - maybe they have a different set up for certain shows?!

 Anyway...we still had a fab time despite the rain and mud! Thanks for all your replies and a big Hello to all the Foresters :)
