We went to Whitecliffe Bay last year, we didn't go back this year. The other family we camped with posted a review on here, but we felt that we got what we paid for, and we really didn't pay very much!
The toilet facilities were not brilliantly clean, there were issues with gangs of rowdy kids in the evenings, the pitches were fairly small and on terraces which would have been a problem for our two families if someone hadn't pitched on one of our spots meaning we had to move. It was OK for the money, but we were sure there are lots of nice sites on the IOW.
This year we went to Pondwell, part of Seaview. We were much more impressed. The camping field was smaller, less facilities on site, but quiet and much more pleasant. The shower and toilet block was old, but cleaned well every day and with fewer campers on site, that was fine. The only problems we had were due to the very high winds and rain, which are not the site's fault.
