Hi

I have booked to go to Cote Ghyll this weekend, however upon checking the weather forecast, it looks as though the whole weekend is going to be dire. Given that the past few weeks its been torrential I am a bit concerned that this is going to cause more hassle than its worth.

Just worried about ending up with a tent full of mud.

Has anyone been to this site when it has rained heavily? What is the ground like? And the facilities when coping with nasty weather?

Been to site before, but didnt have lot of rain, but seemed good for drainage.

Facilities are always lovely and clean so imagine would be same in bad weather. they would keep on top of cleaning. In lovely little village with few nice pubs and Northallerton nearbye with nice shopping

Hopefully weather forecast wrong.

I haven't been to the site, but you are right about the forecast for this weekend. It is going to rain all weekend, some of it very heavy. Yellow warning in place already.
