Having looked through campsite search I could do with some first hand advice on our holiday needs. We are looking for a site with a swimming pool and some entertainment , but not a Haven site, and within walking distance of a town.
We would like to be on the coast ie: Weymouth or Eastbourne way , as this is the only coast we have not visited. Any help would be appreciated.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Not sure if it is considered as within walking distance to a town though.
I stay at the nearby Birchwood, as Wareham Forest has only a few grass pitches with EHU, wherease Birchwood has a lot more.

Coastal taff,Have a look at Bagwell Farm and East Fleet Farm in the Weymouth area.We stayed at Bagwell Farm in March, and enjoyed it even though it was not fully open.We then had some very positive feed back from site members who had stayed on East Fleet Farm. These two are a reasonable distance from Weymouth though. But having said that, there does not appear to be any camping/caravan sites for tourers very close to town anyhow.Bagwell Farm does not have a swimming pool, but read the reviews of these two for a better ides of what they have to offer. Happy hunting.

Hi ,i live in the eastbourne area and there is no campsites in the area with a swimming pool,(the nearest is hastings which is a haven site) There are sites on the edge of eastbourne e.g pevensey bay/normans bay which are very close to the beach and would only be a short car or bus journey into town.
