I've seen a few campsites in the UK with Eurotents and we're considering this instead of taking our own this year.
Has anyone stayed in one in the UK? Is there a heater? Or can you take your own? What are they like in general? What's the beds like? Would you recommend?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
It was staying in a eurotent at Trevornick that first got us into camping. They are very nice, pretty much like any regular canvas tent. There was no heater but there is electricity so I suppose you could take one. The beds were very comfy from what I remember. Had everything we needed and gave us the camping bug!
Thanks Tracey...that's what I was hoping! We do normally camp in our own tent - and last year got EHU for the first time - what luxury!! We're only considering a ready tent this year as we have a new baby so thought it would help with not having to pack so much as we have a car full of baby things even before we pack the tent and the beds, and the cooking stuff etc etc...you get my drift!!! Lol! x x x

Absolutely, glad we didn't camp when our's were babies, can't imagine how you would get all the camping gear and baby gear in a car, even with trailer and/or roofbox!!

We stayed at Trevornick in 2009 in a Eurotent. "Brilliant" is what I say.
After a long drive from Hull the best bit was not having to start putting your tent up.
Beds are great and comfy. Plenty of space.
When we were there we had a few cool nights but just whipped the gas burners on for a couple of minutes and presto it was warm.
Supplied with tent was:-
table and chairs (indoors) picnic bench (outdoors) all cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, twin gas burner, fridge, Ehu (including spare sockets) and TV.
We had the small room for our DS and my and OH had the double size room for us.
All in all I would recommend anyone to try them once at least just to see.
