I only saw on here yesterday all the sites looking for part time wardens in exchange for free pitch and electric for general housekeeping around the site your on . Maybe there are so many because it the beginning of the Season but most seem to be from March to september . Although it keeps you pinned to a site , I'm sure you could change who you work for each year and see lots of wonderful areas .
Of course I use the term 'friend' in it's loosest sense. Being constantly on the move does not allow close relationships to develop. Full-timing has it's negatives. It's not all beer and skittles. Any life style choice has drawbacks. To be successful at it you need to clear out the baggage of your past and start a new. Severing ties is part of that. Many people do find that difficult.

Any long term caravan camping sites materialized since the last postings? Am looking in the Wiltshire area, preferably near Devises, if anyone knows of a farm or site that allows long-term. Maybe in return for helping out?
Thanks, any advice gratefully received.
I am aware of the seasonal rule on most sites of 28 days.
Welcome to UKCS. Try the Site Search tab & tick anything else you need, as well as ticking Seasonals. You may need a site that accepts a dog, for example, or has showers. But it won’t list farms that aren’t sites; they won’t necessarily be insured either.
Good luck.
