We have been to the Torquay area a few times but never in a caravan.
We would like to stay somewhere close to the Paignton area and wondered if anyone knew of any good family sites, preferably on flat ground in or close to this area?
I would more than appreciate any helpful advice.
------------- Easter - Ripley Park
April - Drummond Fish Farm CL
May - The Ranch / Maragowan CC Site
June- Troutbeckhead CC site
August- Beverley Hols Torquay

There are sites at Goodrington Sands and Brixham, can't remember all their names sorry but am sure if you 'google' caravan sites Paignton there'll be several to choose from. I think one is called Hoburn??
Hope this helps.
There's a nice caravan club site at Brixham, Hillhead.

Nice CC site. Huge recreation field and small play area, outdoor pool and lovely bar/restaurant onsite. Ideally placed for exploring the Torquay-Dartmouth coastline. Only thing that does not fit your criteria is that site is not completely flat. The pitches are though. Gets very busy in high season so you would need to book very early.

This will be our third year at Ross Park Newton Abbott. We had to book last year though to get the weeks we wanted even then couldn't get pitch we would have preferred.
It's such a lovely site shower rooms are great, lovely flower arrangements all around park. Our dog loves the dog walks one is more like a park, even got a dog shower room!
Looking forward to going on 21st July for 2 weeks, hope the weather is kind!!
We go to Hoburne Torbay (Grange Court) in Goodrington. 2 adults and 3 kids 8,6,3 and we love it because it is so close to the sea, walkable and also walkable to Paignton too (we walk alot). Good facilites onsite. We stay in the bottom field as we prefer it there - park for the kids is on the top area by the reception but it doesn't bother our kids - they are happy with their bikes. The swimming pool is very good.
------------- 2014
Easter Hols - Burnham-on-sea (7 nts)
Early May bank hol - Hopley's Bewdley (3nts).
Whitsun - Goodrington (14 nts).
August - Goodrington (16 nts).
we loved Ramslade - in Stoke Gabriel. Just outside Paignton. It's a members only caravan club site, but the facilities were great. (sorry, not sure how to post link to the reviews).
