Going to Brecon Beacons in about 10 days time.
Anyone know the area and recommend good site or sites. I'm guessing that 2 sites would do it, say 3 nights at each.
Prefer somewhere quiet (no road noise) , nice scenery, plenty of space, just basic facilities OK. Nice pub within 30 mins walk would be great. Looks like a nice area with lots of walks, canal bike rides, scenic railways, caves and down the big pit mine if it's raining!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Above is a link to my reveiw of a site that we stayed at last weekend. It seems to fit the bill for most of your points. It is across the road from the canal, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons.
I would say that the area is lovely and dependant on what you wan to see will depend on where to start looking.
Enjoy your trip
