I am looking for a campsite preferably north wales which would allow a group of 17-18 year old's to stay, and not have to be quiet at dark. A place which is not too far away from everything and where we could have a campfire without having to keep the noise down after dark (this is vital) the group consists of about 6 people so anywhere which would be fun for a group and can have tents brought to it.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Have to agree with highguyuk, i would be furious to be pitched next to you and the sites we use have a no noise after 11 policy.
Think shell island is more laid back though and its supposed to be huge so you may be able to pitch away from others which is what i'd suggest you do if you want to party all night.

good luck in your search, i tried to get a site for a party of 50 something year olds and we were quite prepared to be quiet after 11pm but it took a personal visit to a site to manage to secure 5 pitches. I know Newquay in Cornwall is a place where they will accept groups of teenagers but dont know anywhere in wales. J x

I have tried to book for a party of 'oldies' before now, with no success. I had never thought of making a personal visit, so next time my sisters and I want a family camp I will try this. Its a great idea
Why not try the Scilly Isles? It costs a bit to get there but there is a campsite often used by school parties and other young people where you can make as much noise as you want! The main island St Marys) is also great for teenagers as it's relatively safe but with enough sense of adventure- they can join the local kids on the beach late into the night. The off islands (eg St Agnes) also have great campsites.
