Hi all can anyone recommend a good and most importantly cheap site in the west yorkshire area , im looking for a cheap site as i only want one night to put up and road test the new tent as im having trouble finding somewhere big enough to lay it all out and have a really good go at getting used to it .

This place in Wakefield was pretty cheap I remember

Just checked it out and seems good , only thing is it says they dont take one night bookings and as i only want some space to test the new tent out i might have to look elsewhere , thanks for the tip anyway i will keep it in mind for the future , cheers .

I know it is nearer to Halifax but Elland Hall Farm Caravan Park has good reviews and takes tents and their tariff seems cheap enough

Bank Top Farm, Pickering is a lovely site and only cost us £16.50/night for the four of us plus dog including EHU last year. Know it's North Yorks, not West, but we're not too far away from Wakey and it only took us an hour to get there.

We've just had a one night stay at South Lea for the very same reason. Currently they are quiet on weekdays (so they prob don't mind you spreading out) cost us £12 (2+dog & 5p tent)

Garden Blooms in Doncaster is great.  Small site nice owners.  You do have to be member of caravan and camping club though x

Lower Heights Farm near Silsden, not far from Keighley is good. At least it is in the west of Yorkshire.
