well the time has come for our trip to st.austell cornwall

we are driving down next wednesday travelling through night due to little one,who hopefully will sleep through.

we are looking for a place to stop in the morning for a breakfast and a fresen up before we get to our campsite.

does anyone know of a place to go?

tesco just off j30 has often been mentioned on here ,apparently park in the overflow car park and use the cafe also handy for fuel

Presumably you are travelling M5/A30. If that is the case and you want to avoid the Motorway Services then the next stop is Sourton Cross just west of Okehampton. Come to think of it there is also a stop just before reaching Okey. A BP (I think) service station and adjacent restuarant.

Agree.  There is a restaurant, the services are at Belstone and on the East direction of the A30, so on the right side of the road.  They do fabulous pasties in the BP garage.  Plenty of parking and a little picnic area if it's sunny.

if you are using the a30,then there is a great cafe and picnic area at two bridges,which is signposted just after the north cornwall,wadebridge turn off,as you pass launceston,its at the bottom of the hill and has toilets and cafe which sells good food,its a good rest area!
