We stayed here about 5 years ago and it's still getting good reviews. I don't think they charge a lot for tents either.

Whoops! Being geographically challenged, I've sent you off the A38 onto the other road that goes somewhere else. Nice campsite, though.

With reference to Webbers park and having been there in the past when ground conditions are wet I would advise giving it a miss at present.

Have been down to relations in Woodbury today and the area has really been suffering with the rain. Lots of fields flooded resembling lakes and as this site is in this area ground conditions must be pretty bad. They had three inches of rain on Friday night and Julys rainfall record had already been broken before that monsoon!

Just North of Exeter, on the M5 is Minnows CC site.  3 minute drive from junction 27 of the M5.

At 20 minute drive down the motorway will get you to Exeter.

If you are coming down the M5 as has been said the Minnows just off junction 27 is ideal.

If you are entering Cornwall via the A38 [Plymouth] then the CC Site at Exeter racecourse is also suitable and always have plenty of room. Just off the A38 t the top of Haldon hill.

I don't know how to do links, but Beara Farm in Buckfastleigh is just off the A38 and is lovely.
