Hello all, we are looking at putting or van on a seasonal pitch for next year, does anyone have any recommendations, we are looking for somewhere around morecambe or south lakes.

You could try Holgates at Silverdale or cheaper option is their sister site,  Bay View at Carnforth.

I'd go for somewhere outside of Morecambe town myself, there are a number on the Bay.

There are quite a few around the Morecambe, South Lakes, Grange, Milnthorpe area. Do a search of this site and it will bring up quite a few.

We used the search facility, made a shortlist and looked around about half a dozen of them before deciding on Bay View at Bolton le Sands.

We haven't been disappointed with our choice as it suits our needs perfectly. The shower and toilet facilities are spot on and there is a lovely new bar/restaurant serving excellent food with occasional entertainment in high season. There is a small shop selling the usual camping stuff, fresh eggs, beer and wine etc.

We use our caravan almost every weekend and plan to keep it on for at least another season because we just haven't found anywhere else that comes up to scratch.

The village of Bolton le Sands is a 10 minute walk in one direction and Carnforth is a 10 minute walk in the other. Both have pubs and places to eat. Morecambe is a 5 minute drive or you can catch the bus which passes the site entrance. There is a Tesco a couple of minutes away and Booths is just a little bit further.
