Hi all,not sure if posting in the right place sorry and I know most on here are hardcore campers but we were about to book a static holiday for the summer hols with the weather being unpredictable this year! Anyway after hunting through all the overpriced holidays we found something on hoseasons but when we came to book it had added on a £55 booking conditions upgrade and £33 holiday insurance. Now both of these can be taken off but when you take off the insurance it makes you agree to be liable for damage to the caravan!! I have booked holidays through Haven and Park Resorts in the past but I have never know this to come up before and I have never paid insurace for uk hols, we don't take anything valuable and have our own breakdown cover. The holiday is expensive enough without hidden extras. Does anyone else think this is strange? Booking office is closed but I will question this with them in the morning. Surely they have their own insurance for damages I've never known this be passed on to the customer but I don't want to be worried I'll be charged if anything gets damaged!! Thanks for reading.
