Hi, just wanted info on what some of you are paying for seasonal pitches? We are looking for a seasonal pitch where we can also store during the winter. We have a 17ft caravan with porch awning and require EHU and a site that is dog friendly. We have been quoted from £1600-£3300! Does anyone know any in the north west-Lancashire, Cumbria or north Wales that are reasonable.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We have a seasonal pitch at Bay View at Bolton le Sands and we pay £1600 for the pitch with awning and the price includes electricity. They also do fully serviced pitches with water, TV and waste for £2000 but the electricity is metered.
Highfield Farm which unfortunately isn't in your chosen area but is near Catterick charges £1410 for this year and that includes your awning which can stay up from March til October and the 'van stays on the pitch for winter. A lovely site with super owners and although there has been a waiting list they are adding more pitches for next year. Electricity is metered and although there isn't a shop ( only a short drive for choice of supermarkets) there is a fishing pond and for the more energetic, tennis courts are both available at small extra cost. This is our second season and we love the peace and tranquility. Check out their website on here.
Hi, we are on a seasonal at Lowther, just south of Penrith. We pay £1800 (£1700 if paid by mid January). Electricity is metered and extra and you can leave the van on the pitch over winter.
