hi we are looking for affordable famliy camping near to the sea in north wales,any suggestions we have tried heleys in tawyn but find it a bit loud at the weekends many thanks

You could try Llwyn Bugeilydd in Criccieth. About a mile inland, quiet and affordable IMO

we love this site - Platts Farm, llanfairfechan. It charges per person so can add up but seems to be on a par with the rest of the coast. OH thinks it's dear but he hasn't got past the £2 a night sheep and midges field from 10 years ago. Anyway I pay for it.

We got our Tesco groceries delivered here an hour after arrival - genius. It's also got barns to cook under.

what sort of site are you looking for and how far from the sea are you willing to be? Lovely site in Betws yn Rhos (3 miles outside Abergele)
