Hi I am wondering if anyone can suggest a cheap site for 3 nights to visit the Cotswolds area around 26 July? I have seen some great sites that work out about £20 per night. As we have our main trip coming up in Aug money is tight and I was hoping for a basic site for around £10-15 a night. The last 2 places we stayed (in Suffolk and Sussex) were £7 and £9 per night for 2 adults plus 2 kids. We don't need ehu or even a fancy toilet block ( have a kampa khazi if nec) and happy with a standpipe for washing up etc.
Thanks,
Mel

We are staying a couple of nights at Bourton on the Water on the way down to Devon this weekend. Moors Farm is a CCC site at £12 per night with electric. Never stayed here before so can't recommend but the reviews are good. Walking distance into town and the site has a shower and toilet.

Have a look in the CCC big book and find a CS that is close to Stratford on Avon under the Name of Bluck in the Village of Weston on Avon. It is not as nice as the CC CL they have that is right by the river but it is still a pleasant place within the Cotswolds just a stand pipe, chemical emptying point and dustbins but only £5 a night.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

We are at a CS called Seven Acres on the B4070 about 5 miles north of Stroud (very last minute decision), it's a handy base for the more southerly part of the Cotswolds. Has a loo and washbasin, EHU if you need it. It's a large level field, a bit muddy at the entrance but not too bad. £7 without ehu or £10 with. Anne
