Hi,

I'm hoping someone on here can help me remember the name of a camp site in East Lothian. We visited it quite a few years ago and at the time we thought it would be a good place to stay if we ever had kids. Well the kid is here but my memory hasn't lasted!!

So here are the clues

- I'm positive it is in east Lothian - somewhere between Dunbar and Berwick I think.
- think it was down a steep hill
-was almost right on the beach
-had a small stream/river flowing through the middle of the site and you had to go over a little bridge to get to the touring area.
-I think it had bar/restaurant in quite a big building.

Anyone got any ideas??

was it Thorntonloch? just down from Torness.
We've never stayed here but have looked at it in the past. It's down a hill and right on the beach and looks lovely. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=9084

Only other one I can think of is Pease Bay, but I think that only does statics now. It's down a hill and has quite a large entertainment complex.

I don't think it was thortonloch. It may have been pease bay though. Will need to take a drive down that way to see if that is it.

sounds like pease bay & i am sure they only do statics now......

its in a lovely location though

Thanks folks.

With the help of Google street view I can see that it was Pease Bay I was thinking off.  Shame it changed to statics only.  Our own fault for leaving it so many years after first seeing it
