Hi all, does anybody know of a camping site in south east, that is good for a Mum, on her own with two well behaved young children, I think I may feel a little nervous, if there are big noisy groups. Would be nice if there was a nice gently feel to the site.
Kind Regards.
Lisa
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi Lisa, I went to Gatehouse Wood, near Sevenoaks for my first time alone with my daughter - it was absolutely the right place to overcome solo camping nerves and I've been back twice since. Its a quiet, relaxed site and campers and staff have always been very friendly, nothing intimidating about it. There's a security gate at the entrance and the wardens house is right on the site so it feels very safe. Theres also a playground in the centre so the kids can be seen from the pitches. It gets very positive reviews on this forum if you look it up.. Have fun wherever you go!
Why not try us at Rother Valley Caravan & Camping Park, East Sussex. We have onsite Wardens and we're not too big, though have plenty of space for little ones to run about. See our homepage on UKCampsite and read the most recent review (from a Mum camping with her two daughters)
