Hi, we're thinking of putting our tourer caravan on a seasonal pitch and have shortlisted one site that charges a fee for the year but electricity is paid for separately, via a card bought from their reception.  We've no idea how much we might end up paying for leccy over the course of a year on site, does anybody have any experiences to share?  Obviously highly dependent on how much time you spend in the van.  Thanks!

No idea BUT if your metered personally at least if your only paying for what YOU use its ok. But if lumped in with everyone else and you do not have all manner of leccy things you would be paying for their use.Comps.saterlite,on & on.

Have you made sure its your meter use or taken overall as it could be  also adding site lights etc.

But the c & c club site its £3.75 per night this year for all.

We have metered electric on our seasonal pitches, but we read the meters once a year and send a bill, our customers pay what we pay and charges are shown on the invoice.

The card system is a bit different, as i believe ( i am sure i will be corrected if wrong) that parks can charge more than they are paying this way.

We have card system on our seasonal pitches and the meters are set at what we pay for our electricity. You should not be charged any more than the cost.
