Hello,
I am optimistically looking to book a last minute holiday anywhere in the UK from 11th August ( yep that last minute :O). For me, hubby, our three children (11, 12 and 16) and beautiful toy poodle dog in our touring van. The kids desperately want a swimming pool on the site and I need electric hook up – any advice /recommendations would be gratefully received – at my wits end!!!!
Kind regards
Rachel

Have a look at the availability calendar for sites you've shortlisted, although sometimes I don't think they're always up to date. I would fire off a few emails to see what is and what's not available.
If you're looking to come south have a look at Tregarton Park, St Austell - outdoor pool and huge pitches and a dog field/walk on site.
If I think of any others I'll pop back .....
Good luck in finding somewhere

I second Tregarton park... not far from a lovely beach either Caerhays with massive car park, toilets and beach shop, with food available. Apart from parking and the weather is nice, lovely sandy beach and a cheap day out.
Many thanks to everyone who came back to me. Unfortunately your recommendations were fully booked (I did try them all). I have, however, managed to book a week at Callow top - which means I will be taking the children to Alton towers - yippee . I will write a review when we get back (12 August to 18th).
kind regards
Rachel xx

Hi, if your unable to get good deals on Alton Towers tickets, the tourist information office in Ashborne usually has a very good deal we had 4 tickets for £15 each !
